Hand function is essential to achieving independence. Understanding the fundamentals of hand control is necessary to design an optimal therapy plan. This course discusses the role of the parietal lobe in hand-object interaction as it relates to grasp, motor learning, and function to provide you with a stronger foundation to treat children and adults with hand coordination problems. This course provides information for therapists who work with either pediatrics or adults.

- Understand the role of the inferior parietal cortex and tool use.
