Description: The purpose of this course is to review the socio-demographic characteristics of older adults in American society and how these characteristics can assist physical therapists in anticipating some clinical presentations, placing an individual's progress in perspective, and even altering outcomes through preventative measures. This entry-level/refresher course is intended for physical therapists and assistants as well as occupational therapists and assistants.
