We have developed our online training site to be both state-of-the-art as well as rich with valuable content to help each user gain knowledge and expertise in their selected field of study. All we ask in return is that you abide by the Terms and Conditions that follow. 

Please read them carefully, because when you use our site, you automatically agree to them. 

DISCLAIMER: 

Information accessible on this site is intended to be used exclusively by the target audience identified in each course description for the sole purpose of training. It is not intended to be used by non-targeted individuals (unless clearly stated otherwise) nor is it intended to be a substitute for any professional services.  

DISABILITY POLICY: 

Edlantis Seminars seeks to ensure that all students have access to its activities. To that end, it is committed to providing support services and assistance required for equal access for learners with disabilities. Edlantis Seminars has a firm commitment to meeting the guidelines of the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. RESTRICTIONS ON THE USE OF THE MATERIALS IN OUR SITE: 

(1) All files, images, and accompanying data downloaded from Edlantis Seminars is licensed to and the intellectual property of Edlantis Seminars.
(2) You agree not to copy, distribute, republish, upload, post, or transmit any material from www.edlantis.com without our express written consent.
(3) You agree to download the material for your personal, non-commercial use only, and you further agree not to delete or modify the materials or any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices.
(4) You agree not to redistribute or sell the material or to reverse-engineer, disassemble, or otherwise convert it to any other form that people can use. 

CODE OF HONOR: If you are completing this course for credit, 

(1) You agree that your identity, licensure, and other relevant personal data provided to Edlantis Seminars are truthful and accurate to the best of your knowledge.
(2) You agree to complete all learning units, quizzes, and course exercises independently unless otherwise directed.
(3) You agree not to share unit quizzes, final exam, or any other information that may compromise the course objectives for another learner.
(4) You agree to conduct yourself in a professional and ethical manner that respects the rights and worth of other learners.
(5) You agree to respect the privacy rights of other learners and not to use or distribute any personal information about other learners without their express written consent. 

POLICIES AND PROCEDURES: 

(1) Activity cancellation by the provider: 
In the event an online course would be temporarily unavailable, you will receive notification by email with the following options: 

  • Receive a home-study version of the same course at no additional cost.
  • Receive an extension to complete the course when the site becomes available.
  • Select an alternative course of equal or greater value.
  • Receive a full refund


(2) Activity cancellation by the learner: 
In the event you wish to cancel enrollment in an online course, you must fulfill the following criteria to receive a full refund: 

  • Provide your request in writing within 48 hours of initial enrollment, and before course completion and awarding of certificate.
  • Provide a reasonable explanation for cancellation.
  • Destroy all intellectual property you may have downloaded, printed, or copied.


(3) Complaint Resolution: 
Complaints lodged directly with Edlantis Seminars: 
Complaints lodged after you have completed the course and received the certification of completion will be dealt with on an individual basis depending upon the nature of the complaint. Complaints reported before the completion of the course are categorized and resolved as follows: 

    • Technical complaints are referred to our technical support staff. A staff member will contact you to identify the specific issue. Support will be provided until a resolution can be achieved. In the event a resolution cannot be achieved, and you are unable or unwilling to complete the course in another format, you may choose may choose one of the following options in consultation with the Director of Education:

        • accept partial credit for that portion of the course completed (if applicable) and a partial refund, or
        • no credit and a full refund.

      • Educational complaints will first be referred to the course instructor who will provide educational support. In the event a resolution cannot be achieved at this level, the complaint will be referred to the Director and/or Assistant Director of Education with additional educational support provided by the Editor-in-Chief. If a resolution cannot be achieved, and you have not yet completed the course, you may choose one of the following two options in consultation with the Director of Education:

          • accept partial credit for that portion of the course completed (if applicable) and a partial refund, or
          • no credit and a full refund.

        • Administrative complaints are referred to either the Director of Education, CFO, or CEO. If a resolution cannot be achieved, and you have not yet completed the course, you may choose one of the following two options in consultation with an appropriate officer:

          • accept partial credit for that portion of the course completed (if applicable) and a partial refund, or
          • no credit and a full refund.


        (4) Learner Responsibilities: 
        It is the learner's responsibility to comply with all state and national regulatory board's rules and regulations. This includes but are not limited to:

        • verifying and complying with applicable continuing education requirements set forth by the applicable regulatory board(s);
        • verifying and complying with all applicable standards of practice;
        • verifying and complying with all licensure requirements;
        • verifying course approvals in the learners state and/or regulatory board, and accept that Edlantis Seminars is not liable for unapproved contact hours in the learners state and/or regulatory board;
        • any other rules or laws indentified in the learners state or regulatory board that is not mentioned here.

        It is the learner's responsibility to complete ALL coursework in order to receive credit. This includes but is not limited to:

        • Reading all course materials fully;
        • Completing all course activities to meet the criteria set forth by the instructor;
        • Completing and passing all applicable tests and quizzes.

        IMPORTANT: Edlantis Seminars, Inc. reserves the right to deny continuing education credits or withdraw credits issued at any time if:

        • Coursework is found to be incomplete;
        • It is determined that a user falsified, copied, and/or engaged in any flagrant attempt to manipulate, modify, or alter the coursework just to receive credit; and/or
        • It is determined that the coursework was not completed by the user.

        If any of the conditions above are determined, Edlantis Seminars, Inc. reserves the right to notify any applicable state and national boards along with supporting documentation. 

        (5) Expired Courses 
        In the event the learner's course expires prior to completion, the learner may request an extension in writing to the instructor explaining the reason for not completing the course within the allotted time. Extensions will be awarded based on the instructor's or administrator's discretion and Edlantis Seminars, Inc. reserves the right to charge an administrative fee of $20.00 for each extension awarded. 

        (6) Failed Courses 
        In the event the learner is not able to successfully complete a course, the learner may contact the instructor to discuss course options, including resetting the course. If the instructor grants the learner the opportunity to retake the course, Edlantis Seminars, Inc. reserves the right to charge a $20.00 administrative fee for resetting the course. Each learner may be granted one additional opportunity to pass the course as determined by the criteria defined in the instructions of each course. Refunds will NOT be issued to learners who have failed to meet the course criteria and/or successfully pass the course. 

        (7) Exchanges 
        Exchanges may be made upon written request. The cost of the new course will be the difference in price plus an administrative fee of $20.00 per course exchanged and applicable shipping and handling costs. Exchanges will not be awarded if:

        • More than 50% of the course is completed (online);
        • Course materials are damaged or not returned in their original condition (mailed home study);
        • And/or a certificate or failed grade has been administered.

        When exchanging a course, the learner must destroy all intellectual property that may have been downloaded, printed, or copied and/or return all mailed course materials in their original form. 

        (8) Returns 
        Returns may be made upon written request. Returns will be accepted in the original condition and a refund will be issued minus shipping and handling costs plus a 15% restocking fee. Refunds will be issued upon receipt within 10-15 business days. Damaged or used items will not be refunded. 

        IF YOU SUBMIT MATERIAL TO US... 

        (1) All remarks, suggestions, ideas, graphics, or other information that you communicate to Edlantis Seminars through this site (other than information we promise to protect under our Privacy Policy), becomes and remains our property, even if this agreement is later terminated. 

        This means that... 

        We do not have to treat any such submission as confidential. 

        You cannot sue us for using the ideas you submit (including, but not limited to, product or course ideas). 

        If we use them, or anything like them, we do not have to pay you or anyone else unless a contract has been drawn and agreed upon. 

        We will have exclusive ownership of all present and future rights to submissions of every kind. We can use them for any purpose, without compensating you or anyone else for them. 

        (2) You acknowledge that you are responsible for any submission you make which means that you (and not Edlantis Seminars) have full responsibility for the message, including its legality, reliability, appropriateness, originality, and copyright. 

        DISCLAIMER REGARDING 3rd PARTY PRODUCTS OR INFORMATION: 

        We sometimes provide access to other World Wide Web sites from our sites. But we don't endorse or approve any products or information offered at sites you reach through our site. 

        JURISDICTION: 

        Unless otherwise specified, the materials in our sites are presented to provide information about Edlantis Seminars and its products. 

        Edlantis Seminars controls and operates its sites from the company's headquarters in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, in the United States of America. We in no way imply that the materials on the sites are appropriate or available for use outside of the United States. If you use our sites from locations outside of the United States, you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. 

        TERMINATION OF THIS AGREEMENT: 

        This agreement is effective until terminated by either party. 

        You may terminate this agreement at any time, by destroying all materials obtained from Edlantis Seminar's, along with all related documentation and all copies and installations. 

        Edlantis Seminars may terminate this agreement at any time and without notice to you if, in its sole judgment, you breach any term or condition of this agreement. Upon termination, you must destroy all materials. 

        In addition, by providing material on our Web sites, we do not in any way promise that the materials will remain available to you. And Edlantis Seminars is entitled to terminate all or part of any of its Web sites at any time, without notice to you. 

        MISCELLANEOUS POINTS ABOUT THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS USER AGREEMENT: 

        These Terms and Conditions, and the agreement they create, shall be governed by and interpreted according to the laws of the State of Pennsylvania (without applying the state's conflict-of-law principles). 

        If any provision of this agreement is unlawful, void or unenforceable, it will not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions. 

        Edlantis Seminars may modify these Terms and Conditions, and the agreement they create, at any time, simply by updating this posting and without notice to you. 

        This is the entire agreement regarding all the matters that have been discussed in the preceding paragraphs. 

        LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: 

        EDLANTIS SEMINARS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OR INJURY THAT ACCOMPANY OR RESULT FROM YOUR USE OF EDLANTIS.COM AND ITS RELATED SITES. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE LEARNER, RELYING ON THEIR OWN EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE OF THE PATIENT, TO MAKE DIAGNOSIS, TO DETERMINE THE BEST TREATMENT FOR EACH INDIVIDUAL PATIENT, AND TO TAKE ALL APPROPRIATE SAFETY PRECAUTIONS. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW, NEITHER EDLANTIS SEMINARS, INC., THE PUBLISHER, NOR THE EDITORS/AUTHORS ASSUMES ANY LIABILITY FOR ANY INJURY AND/OR DAMAGES TO PERSONS OR PROPERTY ARISING OUT OR RELATED TO ANY USE OF THE MATERIAL PROVIDED TO THE LEARNER. 

        THESE INCLUDE (BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO) DAMAGES OR INJURY CAUSED BY ANY... 

        USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SITES, USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) ANY SITE TO WHICH YOU HYPERLINK FROM OUR SITES; FAILURE OF PERFORMANCE, ERROR, OMISSION, INTERRUPTION, DEFECT, DELAY IN OPERATION OR TRANSMISSION, COMPUTER VIRUS, OR... LINE FAILURE. 

        KEEP IN MIND THAT WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES, INCLUDING... 

        DAMAGES INTENDED TO COMPENSATE SOMEONE DIRECTLY FOR A LOSS OR INJURY; DAMAGES REASONABLY EXPECTED TO RESULT FROM A LOSS OR INJURY (LEGALLY, "CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES"); OTHER MISCELLANEOUS DAMAGES AND EXPENSES RESULTING DIRECTLY FROM A LOSS OR INJURY (LEGALLY, "INCIDENTAL DAMAGES").

        THAT OUR SITES OR THE SERVERS THAT MAKES THEM AVAILABLE ARE FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. 

        THAT SUCCESSFUL RESULTS OR OUTCOMES WILL RESULT FROM PROPERLY FOLLOWING ANY INSTRUCTIONS, DIRECTIONS CONTAINED IN THE MATERIALS. (WE THINK OUR COURSES ARE GREAT, BUT WE HAVE NO CONTROL OVER CONDITIONS IN YOUR PARTICULAR SETTING THAT WE DON'T KNOW ABOUT.) 

        IN ADDITION TO THE ABOVE, YOU (AND NOT EDLANTIS SEMINARS) ASSUME THE ENTIRE COST OF ALL NECESSARY SERVICING, REPAIR OR CORRECTION. EXCEPTION: IN CERTAIN STATES, THE LAW MAY NOT ALLOW US TO DISCLAIM OR EXCLUDE WARRANTIES, SO THE ABOVE DISCLAIMER MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
